  The character William in short life is always thing that he will die soon because of a bump on his head. My claim for the story Short Life is that William is a bit over reactive and sensitive about the bump on his head.

To prove my claim he says that he has a big bump on his head and thought it was a big tumor. When he was watching TV he saw it said that a quarter back was throwing passes one minute the next thing he died of a tumor.This is evidence from the text on page 80 middle. He thinks that it goes fast but that's how long the tv program.

Another reason for this claim is on the top of page 81 is where he grabs a cigar and throws it up in the air and sees if he can still catch it in the air but then he thinks that he cant do it any more because of the tumor or bump on his head.

My last piece of evidence is when he Goes to tell his mom on page 82 where he goes to his moms room to tell here about his tumor but then she says he has a bumpy head. but he is so sensitive and over reactive because because then he notices a small numbness on his finger so small it should not matter.

The claim that will is over reactive and sensitive is a good supported claim because i think these are some claims the support my idea about will.Will is very sensitive and he can be very thought full over himself because he just thinks a lot and is very sensitive due to small thing that he over reacts to which is good in some ways. This evidence i give fits my claim well because i do think i have a strong claim about wills actions and thoughts.
